The official definition is
“pag·eant. A public entertainment consisting of a procession of people in elaborate, colourful costumes, or an outdoor performance of a historical scene.”
After my 2nd year with the National Canadian Pageant, I know it is so much more.
Director Kali Ann Tucker works tirelessly to provide a one of a kind opportunity for girls and women from all over Canada to gain confidence and spread their wings.
It gives many young ladies the chance to travel, public speak, and perform. Making friends is a huge bonus and so many become lifelong pageant sisters.
If you have ever thought about entering a pageant, I say do it! The team at National Canadian Pageant strives to make the experience drama-free, safe, inclusive, and affordable.
Seeing the transformation of past title holders is something I will never forget. In one year crowned Royalty turned their awkwardness into poise and shyness into courage.
2019 we all met in Toronto for a week long adventure with modelling competitions, a field trip day to Niagara Falls, volunteering, appearances, pageantry and sisterhood.
Please contact Kali Ann for more information on pageant life and what it can do for you!
