Staying safe and healthy with Calgary Photographers
It seems that our lives of isolation is coming to an end and as we phase into our new normal lives, I am eager to get back to work, but also want to keep my family and clients safety in mind.
Client’s wellbeing has always been a top priority so in these unprecedented times, I have developed sensible routines to ensure that my studio and on-site visits are a safe zone for clients their families and coworkers.
COVID – 19 Protocol
General Guidlines
Social distancing – I am still opting for essential outings only, keeping in touch with calls, texting and FaceTime.
No physical contact – This might be the hardest part for me, as an avid handshaker, exuberant high-fiver and big-bear-hugger. People I meet are now given a firm “Namaste.”
Sanitizer and washing hands frequently – Goes without saying 🙂
Mask as an option – Of course, my clients can’t wear photos in the photos, but if it adds a sense of security during the session, I can wear one.
In The Studio
Make up services – We have several sets of toots and all make up brushes are cleaned and sanitized after each client and a mask is worn by artist to ensure mutual safety.
Sanitization- 91% alcohol is used to sanitize anything a that client has touched or will come in contact with.
Personal and Professional Spaces – I am living at limiting visits in my personal space with and maintaining client only areas.
On-site Sessions
Location of your choice – Option for Calgary headshots, family shoots and everything in between. Parks and my outside studio with the standard 6 foot policy are a breath of fresh air and great way to enjoy the warmer weather.
No touch policy – applies to my equipment and physical body
Sanitization – Rinse and repeat for sanitization of equipment and whatever else comes along for the next outing.
