Photography, Fun and More Big Changes
2021 was another year for the books. Calgary, Canada and the world had many ups and downs living in our new normal. Everyday there seemed to be a whirlwind of question marks and being unsure of what to expect, many of us have taken it in stride asking “What next?” with a smile and confidence we had not known before.
Because of lockdowns and restrictions there were many shoots and events that were again postponed but there were so many sessions that were a success. Families, businesses and everyone in between were still happy to share their smiles and stories in studio or on location.
A very proud moment for me was being named Top Calgary Photographer. The full list can be seen at THE BEST CALGARY
Buying a house was another biggie. In the spring I left my wonderful weird Marda Loop place and relocated to Sundance. It is wonderful to be back in the community and I proclaim everyday that this is the best studio ever. The entire basement has been converted for photo magic with lots of room for families of all sizes. There is a makeup room and private space exclusively for boudoir photography sessions. I love it! The lake is right across the street and Fish Creek Sikome, is moments away for out door sessions.
Personally I have so much to be thankful for. My family and home are full of love and our circle has expanded to include forever friends who live, laugh and love with heroic strength and continue to inspire me every day.
