Celebrating Family Memories Across Generations
Summer is one of my favourite times of year for family photography in Calgary. The green spaces, warm weather and longer evenings create the perfect setting for relaxed outdoor portraits that capture genuine family connections.
This beautiful family session brought together multiple generations for an afternoon filled with laughter, hugs and wonderful memories. Along with parents and children, both grandma and great-grandma joined the session, creating photographs that will become even more meaningful as the years pass.
One of my favourite parts of the session was watching the interactions between family members across generations. These moments often become some of the most treasured photographs because they tell the story of a family’s history, love and connection.
The youngest member of the family added plenty of personality throughout the session, including a beautiful flower crown that perfectly suited the summer setting. We also made sure to include the family dog for a few photographs because pets are often an important part of the family story as well.
