Sustainable Style YYC is part of REAP’s annual Down to Earth Week festival which aims to provide Calgarian’s with information and resources to “go green” for Earth Day and all year long. Focused specifically on clothing, Sustainable Style offers Calgarians an opportunity to learn more about how to make a difference through their clothing purchases. This year’s event featured a Keynote address by acclaimed clothing designer, Nicole Bridger and a panel discussion with SwizzleSticks SalonSpa, Seed Yoga, Bano eeMee, Studio Intent and Making Changes Association. Guests also had the chance to meet local designers and retailers to learn more about ethical and sustainable clothing options available in Calgary.
